Our Story

In Jesus Name Ministries (IJNM) is a registered charitable and religious trust, founded in the year 2016, with a clear and unwavering Christ-centered mission: to serve the poor, uplift the underprivileged, and build the Church by demonstrating the love and compassion of Jesus Christ through holistic ministry. Rooted deeply in the Word of God and led by the Spirit, IJNM exists to fulfill the Great Commission and the Great Commandment by reaching the unreached, caring for orphans and widows, educating the destitute, and supporting persecuted believers.

Our mission is not merely about charity—it is about transformation. It is about lifting up lives through education, healing wounds through compassion, nurturing faith through discipleship, and building God’s kingdom through Gospel-centered action. We believe that every soul is precious in the sight of God and that our service is ultimately unto Him.

The journey of IJNM was birthed through the visionary leadership of Pastor N. Timothy S Babu, a humble yet passionate servant of God with a burning desire to evangelize remote villages, support local churches, and care for those who are suffering and forgotten. Pastor Timothy’s spiritual foundation was deeply influenced by his father, Padmanabham, a man of strong faith, who ignited in him a commitment to Gospel work.

Our Ministries

  • 1. St. Louis Upper Primary School (Established in 2000)

Recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, St. Louis Upper Primary School was established in the year 2000 with a vision to bring hope and a brighter future to underprivileged children. This free institution is dedicated to serving the poor and needy, ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, receives access to both quality education and spiritual formation.

Founded by Mrs. J. Jhansi Lakshmi Bai, the school stands as a beacon of compassion and opportunity. Beyond academic learning, it provides students with free uniforms, textbooks, nutritious food, and necessary medical care, thereby removing the barriers that poverty often creates in the path of education. By nurturing not only the mind but also the heart, the school emphasizes moral values and faith in Christ, shaping students into responsible citizens with strong spiritual foundations.

  • 2. IJNM Children’s Ark
The Ark is more than just a shelter—it is a loving home and a place of restoration for 48 orphans and semi-orphans who have been deprived of the care and protection every child deserves. With a heart to nurture and uplift the most vulnerable, The Ark provides free education, nutritious food, safe accommodation, and essential medical care, ensuring that no child is left without the basic needs of life.

Many of these precious children come from slum areas, broken families, or have been completely abandoned. In a society where they might otherwise be neglected or forgotten, The Ark steps in to restore their dignity, instill confidence, and surround them with unconditional love. Here, children are not only given the tools to succeed academically but are also guided spiritually and emotionally, preparing them for a future filled with hope, security, and purpose.

  • 3. IJNM Church Building Mission
In many remote villages, believers gather faithfully every Sunday, often under the shade of trees, in small rented rooms, or inside fragile thatched huts. While their hearts burn with devotion, the lack of proper infrastructure exposes them to harsh weather, social challenges, and even opposition, making it difficult to worship in dignity and safety. Recognizing this need, the IJNM Church Building Mission was launched with a vision to provide permanent places of worship where God’s people can assemble without fear or hindrance.

Today, IJNM oversees more than 60 congregations, faithfully led by dedicated local pastors who serve their communities with prayer and perseverance. Yet, many of these churches long for a solid roof over their heads and walls that will stand strong as symbols of faith in their villages. To meet this pressing need, IJNM has undertaken the mission of constructing 48 new church buildings across its fields of ministry.

  • IJNM Pastoral Care & Monthly Support :

At the heart of IJNM’s mission are its dedicated pastors, who serve on the frontlines of ministry in rural villages and remote communities. Many of them live amidst persecution, poverty, and constant threats, yet they remain steadfast in shepherding their congregations with unwavering faith. These pastors carry the Gospel to places where Christ is little known, often walking miles to visit believers, praying for the sick, conducting worship services, and standing as pillars of hope in their villages. To support their calling, IJNM provides monthly financial assistance, enabling them to care for their families while continuing their ministry without the added burden of survival struggles. In addition, IJNM organizes pastors’ family fellowship meetings, where leaders and their families come together for encouragement, mutual support, and spiritual renewal. These gatherings are vital times of rest, training, and strengthening, reminding pastors that they are not alone in their mission.

The Women’s Prayer Band is a mighty movement of Spirit-filled women who have dedicated themselves to the ministry of intercession. With hearts fully surrendered to God, they gather day and night, maintaining a 24-hour chain of prayer that covers children, churches, pastors, families, and entire communities. Their prayers rise as a fragrance before God, breaking strongholds, bringing healing, and opening doors for revival in places where hope once seemed lost.
